  3. Remove the seal or tab from the battery before using it.
  4. Let a new battery sit out for about 3 to 5 minutes after removing the seal and tab to allow for an activation period when air can get inside the battery for it to start working optimally.
  5. Carry an extra battery with you because hearing aid batteries can die suddenly without warning.
